Makeup & Hair for Yana from Vladivostock, Russia!

Here’s another beautiful bride I got to work with earlier this month.  Yana, her hubby and their two year old son flew all the way from Russia to renew their vows in the beautiful island of Oahu.  Knowing there are thousands of people that fly in to Hawaii reminds me how lucky I am to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth. 

Working with this beautiful bride is so much fun and effortless.  In my opinion, Yana’s beauty is unique as I rarely see Russians here in Hawaii.  With my experience of working in the fashion and beauty industry, I have come across different face features and ethnicities.  I must admit Russian women are among those who are blessed with beautiful features.  Yana, is one of the many that I enjoyed applying makeup on because of her smooth skin and her almond-shaped eyes makes it easy regardless of color and effects.

Melanie looks elegant and chic wearing this classic wedding chignon wrapped with a braid giving her hair an intricate look.  For makeup, a tinge of pink was highlighted on her eyes and applied on her cheeks and lips.  The white flower in the hair is a great touch for this formal bridal look.

Hair and Makeup for Maria from Australia!

Today the Isle Media Beauty Team prepared Maria and her bridal party's makeup and hair for her big day at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki.  This lovely bride flew all the way from Australia to Hawaii, one of her favorite destinations, to marry her true love at The Ocean Crystal Chapel.  Please stand by for another blog-post on this wedding.  For now, have a look at the before and after makeup and hair.

Maria and Daniel first inquired with us over a year and a half ago, and it was so nice for their big day to finally come around. What was most impressive was that Maria and Daniel have been together 17+ years! They are originally from New Zealand, although they currently live in Australia....and brought a chill, laid back island vibe to their wedding day (thank you for that!). We loved their grande entrance, and the many little cultural touches they had to the decor and entertainment.

Congratulations Maria and Daniel. You made it! Cheehoo!

Before and After Makeup and Hair for Charity!

Charity and Bridesmaids at the beautiful Paradise Bay Resort. 

At Charity's trial, we took this before and after picture to see what a big difference makeup can do.  We love to enhance what the bride already has - Natural Beauty.  For makeup, shades of purple, browns, and golds were dusted on her eyes while keeping everything neutral and radiant.  Her hair was twirled in loose waves in a half up half down do.

Before and After Makeup and Hair for Cassie!

For makeup, we used Champagne-gold shadows on the eyes and rosy lips.  Gorgeous.

Before and After Makeup & Hair for Jade!

We had the pleasure of working with Jade a couple weeks ago and we can't say enough great things about her.  She was really easy to work with and  what a treat it was pampering her and her bridal party at her beautiful bridal suite at the Hyatt in Waikiki.  She wanted to keep her hair and makeup the same way - soft, easy, texture with braids..ABSOLUTELY LOVE!  Her makeup was very natural with soft violets and sheer pinks, but with a little more drama on the eyes.  Stay tuned for videos and more photos from our team!

Hair and Makeup for Karen!

Karen is our lovely bride from Australia!
Because of her good taste in style, we were able to fine tune her bridal look for her wedding!
For her eye makeup, we used brown shadows to create that soft smokey effect without looking over the top.
For her lips, we applied a natural nectar lip gloss to give it that feminine touch.
A half up half down hair do with beachy waves worked perfectly for her North Shore wedding at the Turtle Bay Resort!

We also styled one of her bridesmaids which happens to be her lovely sister!
Her makeup was also applied softly which complimented the bridesmaids dress.
Her hair was placed in a low side bun with flowers pinned up right behind the ear.  So chic!

Vintage Before and after makeup and hair for Ramona!

Vintage inspired bridal makeup and hair style.
Ramona's before and after vintage hair and makeup for her wedding was held at the beautiful Loulu Palm Estate.  Ramona wanted the Gwen Stefani pompadour hair style so we twisted her hair up into an interesting ponytail design.  Her makeup was also inspired by Gwen.  Warm reds was applied to lips for that classic look!  Vintage beauty is timeless and beautiful.
