It's an understatement to say that Dhyana, owner of Face Art Beauty, and her team enjoy hair & makeup. These artists LOVE the world of hair & makeup, and it was a real privilege for Alan and I to join them behind the scenes on a creative shoot!

Dhyana and her team of makeup artists each had a vision for what they wanted to create on their models, and it was very inspiring to watch them piece together all the elements to complete their look. Airbrush, hairspray, tape, pain brushes, clips, curling irons, assorted jewels, black paint, green moss, and glitter...let's just say it was a very colorful set :)

Seasons's of Life Events Promotional Reel!

As part of our May premier, we are featuring several local companies that we have teamed up with. In this blog post, Karine France-Matsumoto, owner of Seasons of Life Events, a wedding & events planning company, has the spotlight! Last month, Alan and I went over to Karine's office in Kahala to do her video and promo shoot. It was a ton of fun! Karine, Faith, and Desiree are such a bubbly group, and it wasn't hard at all to get the smiles and laughter for them on camera :) They also redefined what coordinating colors mean :)

Behind The Scenes with Kristin Kato from A Cake Life!

As part of our May premier, we are featuring several local companies that we have teamed up with. In this blog post, Kristin Kato, owner of A Cake Life, has the spotlight! First of all, Kristin's cakes are ONO. Like you wouldn't believe wedding cakes could taste so good :) Alan and I had a cake sampling during a meeting with Kristin a few months back and all we can say is that we were bummed she didn't bring the whole cake :)

Anyway, on Saturday, Alan and I joined Kristin and her team on a double delivery day, which included wedding cake deliveries at the Waialae Country Club, and Washington Place (Governor's mansion). It was a very cool experience to see all the work that goes into transporting and setting up a wedding cake!
