Seini and Brandan Married!

One of the fascinating aspects of wedding photography is that you get to step into other cultures that you'd otherwise never get to experience. This was the case with Seini and Brandon's wedding, which we documented a few weeks ago. Seini had told us before hand, that we were in for a completely different experience with her Tongan heritage. And she was right. From the start, everything, whether it was the beautiful singing at the ceremony, or the family mat presentations during the reception, gave us all insight into what this culture is all about.

To me, what also set this wedding apart from the others that I've photographed was the emotions. There was so much of it, I cannot begin to tell you how many times I saw tears and laughter that triggered similar emotions of my own. Yes I do cry at weddings if you were wondering lol.

Anyway, I'll let the rest of the photos speak for themselves. Congratulations to Seini and Brandon!

A Ring Story

In photography, wedding rings by themselves, are not very compelling. However, give them some context for storytelling, and suddenly, things get interesting. When we shot Seini and Brandan's wedding, it was an insight into another culture, and I wanted the ring shot to reflect that.

Stay tuned for Isle Media's first full wedding photo post!

Your the one.

Our youngest bride and groom to date! Nathaniel & Kaitlynn were high school sweethearts that were fortunate enough to find each other at the beginning of their lives. If we all could be so lucky! Enjoy their same day edit. Congratulations to you both.

If you notice there is a higher quality to this video, it's because we were utilizing our newest camera body, the Canon 5D Mark II. : )

1,000 Page Views!!!

Hey guys!

We just wanted to send a big Mahalo to everyone for supporting or blog! We began blogging only three months ago, and it's humbling to see all the page views we've received since then!

August and September were all packed with jobs (at one point, we had 7 straight weekends of weddings!!), so we've been fortunate to have some down time this month to edit.

Thanks again for all the support! More videos and photos are on the way :D

North Shore Romance

During Healani and Glenn's wedding, we were blessed with a wonderful sunset on the North Shore! I was able to pull the two of them aside for a few, quick shots before the sun dipped below the sea.

Congratulations you two!

As you can see in the video, these two are just... HAPPY! It was an honor to film and edit this on the same day to show at their evening reception! Congratulations to the both of you.stay tuned to see Mike and April's reaction to their highlights video! Nothing feels better for us than to see a bride and groom's initial reaction to their Same Day Edit.
