We were so grateful and honored when Life Foundation invited us to produce a short PSA for public broadcasting.   Short, sweet, and straight to the point.  It was a fun shoot!  (BTW, for those that did not know, the red stripe on the finger is symbolic for the negative reading on an AIDS/HIV testing kit).

Behind the Scenes with CRW! (Commercial Roofing and Waterproofing)

Back in February, we worked with Dana Akasaki of CRW (Commercial Roofing and Waterproofing). In addition to doing a commercial video for them (which can be found here), we also did behind the scenes photos of a typical workday at the CRW office, and shot portraits of the company heads. It was great to experience the hustle and bustle of a company that's celebrating it's 20th anniverary of serving Hawaii. It was also very cool to be able to take a ride on a box truck to gain access to solar panels on rooftops at the warehouse! Enjoy!

Photoshoot for the Honolulu Eye Clinic!

A few weeks ago, Dr. Rupa Wong of the Honolulu Eye Clinic contacted us to do a group portrait of her staff in their office at Queen's Hospital. Everyone wore green to celebrate the holidays, and of course, sported the various pairs of glasses that are offered at the clinic :)

Congratulations to Dr. Rupa Wong and her husband, Dr. Jeff Wong, who were both recently awarded "Best Doctors in Hawaii 2012!!" You check out the article here. For more information on their clinic, check out their website here.

The staff was a ton of fun to work with...it is very obvious that they're a big family, and I look forward to working with again in the future!

Mr. and Miss Polynesia 2012 Photos

When the opportunity to photograph this event presented itself, I jumped at the opportunity and I'm glad I did.  Never had I seen so much love for Polynesian culture in one venue.  I could see it in all of the contestants, coordinators, and the people in attendance alike.  The performances, the fashion apparel was unlike anything I could have imagined.  Thank you to all of the contestants, performers and coordinators for making it possible.

Mabel & Chad

Chad & Mabel Wedding Highlight

 

Mabel and Chad's wedding was full of color and animated expressions. From a rocking wedding party, to a very cute owl theme, Mabel and Chad's big day at the Hale Koa was a ton of fun to cover! The ceremony was one of the happiest we've ever documented at the Hale Koa, and it was wonderful to see these two finally tie the knot in the presence of their family and friends :)

One of the biggest compliments next to being booked for someone's wedding day is when a successful, well-known business invites you to film for their brand. Paul Brown, founder of Hawaii's leading hair and day spa, has over 34 years of experience in the beauty industry. Paul Brown has created unique hair and wellness products reaching multiple continents including the Americas, Europe and Asia. In addition to his franchise of salons in the Hawaiian Islands, Paul has established "The Paul Brown Institute of Beauty and Wellness Technologies," that teaches massage and beauty services. His schools are employed by nearly 300 people.

This highlight reel is comprised of footage taken from a 4 day campaign, showcasing the variety of themes and looks that has inspired his new product line coming soon.

Hokulani Bake Shop Wins "Cupcake Wars" on the Food Network!

Congratulations to Hawaii's very own, Hokulani Bake Shop for not only landing a slot onto Food Network's "Cupcake Wars," but for also taking home a first place finish! Isle Media was picked up at the last minute to put together this very quick promo video for Hokulani, that was debuted on the BIG screen at Ward Theater during their celebration party. Enjoy!
