Chad & Mabel Wedding Highlight

 

Mabel and Chad's wedding was full of color and animated expressions. From a rocking wedding party, to a very cute owl theme, Mabel and Chad's big day at the Hale Koa was a ton of fun to cover! The ceremony was one of the happiest we've ever documented at the Hale Koa, and it was wonderful to see these two finally tie the knot in the presence of their family and friends :)

Emma & Ricky // From China to Lanikuhonua

I find it so flattering when clients from across the world stumble across our work and write to me saying they want to book us. Emma and Ricky originate from China, and had an incredible destination wedding at the beautiful Lanikuhonua at Koolina. Emma and Ricky are a quirky and cute couple. High energy. WIth many whimsical moments throughout the evening. It was also a nice surprise to see Maohi Nui, as the polynesian entertainment! : )

Wedding Preview: Kim & Clinton!

It's not everyday that we get to hang out with a wedding party from Australia! Kim and Clinton's group is from all over the land Down Under...Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth to name a few :) Here's a sneak peak from their wedding at Loulu Palm Estate!

Faithful

Reese and I first met Aimee and King Ming last fall, when they visited Hawaii for their engagement photo shoot. We had our shoot at the Ala Moana Park, then moved to a gorgeous church in downtown.  I remember their nice smiles and laughter during the photo shoot, and I knew these two really had chemistry together. Later that day in the evening when we went to the church for the rest of the shooting, it started to rain quite heavily! They remained in high spirits, and our photo shoot went very well :-)

A winter passed, sprint passed, and the Summer 2012, we were there for their wedding at the beautiful Loulu Palm Estate on the North Shore! It was so great to see them and we could be part of their special day! The above ring shot was inspired by the couple's strong faith. We wish all the best to Aimee and King Ming! Kaipo & Lani // Married at Lanikuhonua

Kaipo and Lani had their own personal vows where they shared their feelings at the ceremony. The Fun and loving couple made our job so much easy to shoot with their laid back aloha attitude. A beautiful wedding with heart-touching vows was on their SDE that we shared that night and they got to relive their moments again.

Ceremony Panorama

A classic wedding image is shooting down the aisle towards the couple. How do you keep things fresh? You turn the perspective into a 15 shot panorama, praying that nobody moves during the 10 seconds that you're creating the panorama, and then praying a few days later while the computer merges all the shots together. But the results can be pretty cool...for those of you familiar with cameras, the panorama above has a depth of field equivalent to a 35mm lens @ f0.74. Kinda crazy :)

Brandon and Tara Wedding Highlight (Lanikuhonua, Koolina)

It was a awesome day on the day of Brandon and Tara's wedding and it got even more awesome after they got hitched! Smiles and fun all around and the best part of all was the love that Tara and Brandon shared, not only with each other, but with everyone that joined in on celebrating in their happiness.
