AccesSurf!!

This year, we've discovered that the work we produce can go beyond weddings and commercial and help others in the community. We recently partnered up with AccesSurf, a non-profit organization that gives children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy surfing and water recreation. The organization holds monthly events at the beach, drawing disabled participants and their families for an afternoon of fun and recreation. This past weekend, we went out to White Plains Beach to document the February event. It was quite an eye-opening experience for all of us! Just to see the excitement and joy in the eyes of the participants as they got to surf or play in the water really hit home, and it was awesome to document the whole event. Hard Rock Cafe provided food for the event, so everyone was well-fed and happy after a great time in the water :)

Mark, the president AccesSurf, will be stepping down from his position (although he will still be volunteering at the event), and the team at the event surprised him with a lei and cake for all of his hard work over the years.
